Location - Lat. N40°12’43.9”, Long. W105°23’34.1” (WGS84). Gage is located on the left side of the channel at a 40-foot wide broad crest weir upstream of Button Rock Reservoir on the North Fork of the Saint Vrain; 6.5 miles west of Lyons in Boulder County, CO.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - 94.8 mi² (USGS Colorado StreamStats utility). Period of Record: N/A

Gage - Sutron 56-0540-400-DTR shaft encoder and a satellite monitored Sutron SatLink 2 data collection platform in a 42-inch corrugated metal pipe shelter and stilling well on the left side of a 40-foot wide broad crest weir. The primary reference is an adjustable reference point and metal drop tape inside the shelter with a supplemental staff gage on the left wing wall of the control. The well is connected to the stream via two 2-inch intakes without flushing provisions. Control and gage shelter are owned by the City of Longmont and operated by the Colorado Division of Water Resources.
