Location - Lat. N. 40°12’56.4”, Long. W. 105°21’48.3” (NAD83). Gage is located on the right bank at a low head concrete dam control 900 ft. downstream from the outlet works of Buttonrock Dam, Ralph Price Reservoir; 4.9 miles west of Lyons, CO.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - 102 sq mi. (USGS Colorado StreamStats utility). Period of Record: N/A

Gage - Digital incremental Sutron Stage Discharge Recorder SDR-0001-4 shaft encoder connected to a Sutron SatLink2 V2 data collection platform (DCP) in a 36-inch corrugated metal pipe shelter and stilling well on the right side of a low head concrete dam control. The control will effectively control all flows released via the outlet works of the dam. Flows contributed to the stream when the spillway is active will bypass the gage and enter the creek approximately 0.3 miles downstream from the gage.
